John Springer

John Springer focuses his practice on civil litigation in state and federal courts in matters involving business and medical provider disputes, creditors’ rights, insurance subrogation, and other general commercial litigation. John attended the University of South Florida and earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and later graduated from Stetson College of Law with a Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration. He is licensed to practice in the state of Florida and is admitted to the bar of the United States District Court of the Middle District of Florida.

John has extensive civil litigation experience from litigating at trial, arguing motions, deposing parties, conducting discovery, and settling claims at a mediation. John is a strict adherent to the SVS philosophy of showing respect and demonstrating empathy to all parties and seeks to advance his client’s position to obtain resolutions that are beneficial to his clients and economically feasible for opposing parties.

John was born in Houston, Texas in 1983. His family moved to the greater Tampa, Florida area in 1986. He was raised in the small town of Lutz, Florida until the age of sixteen. For his junior year of high school, John attended Valley Forge Military academy located in a main-line suburb of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Palisades Charter High School in Los Angles, California. John returned to the Tampa, Florida area to attend the University of South Florida and upon graduating moved to San Diego, California, where he worked as a junior accountant for an international condo developer. In 2010 he once again returned to the Tampa, Florida area to attend law school. John is married to his wife Rachel with whom he shares two young wild boys. They live in Pinellas county and enjoy the outdoors, spending time with family and attempting to get some sleep. John joined SVS in 2014 as an associate attorney and was made a partner in 2020.
